GSP Customer Testimonials

“As I tweeted yesterday, we (afPE), pride ourselves on being able to support the sector with up to date purposeful and relevant information. I am so pleased to have been able to support the conference on behalf of afPE. So pleased it had some immediate impact! I would also like to say well done on your conference planning and organisation. Good job well done!”

Mike Crichton, Chair Of National Association for Physical Education (afPE)

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team for all the time and effort which went into Dance Fusion yesterday evening. These things don’t just happen without an incredible amount of preparation and work behind the scenes before you even get to the day. The event just seems to get bigger and better every year and huge part of that must go to the drive that you put into it to make sure it is such a success. Walderslade again really enjoyed being part of the evening and please pass on my thanks to everyone involved.”

Mr P. Dadson, Head teacher of Walderslade Primary School

“I just wanted to send my thanks in writing regarding the School Games regional west Kent rowing event that took place on Tuesday 6th December in the Greenacre sports hall. The event was delivered with the Greenacre Sports Partnership team led by Vikki Bell and involved 13 schools, 63 teams and 252 participants. The team could not have been more helpful on the day and after the event a number of schools commented on what a great day they had. In addition on Wednesday 30th November the team assisted with the delivery of our disability rowing competition an event targeted at young people with learning disabilities and again the feedback was excellent. Many thanks to Greenacre Academy for continuing to support the School Games programme in Kent. ”

Natalie Harris, Countryside, Leisure and Sports Events Manager, Kent Sport

“We have always been really impressed with the service and dedication of the Greenacre Sports Partnership. It is obviously more than just a job for the staff. They passionately believe in what they are doing and really care about the pupils, I believe this is one of the main reasons they are so successful. I would strongly recommend this service to anyone that might be interested.”

Steve Geary, Head of PE at Horsted Primary School

“I am emailing to express my gratitude to you and your team for supporting our rowing challenge at Strood Academy. We were extremely grateful to you for taking the time to both deliver and collect the rowers and for demonstrating how to link them up to the software. As a result, we were able to present staff completing the rowing challenge in 4 assemblies, which allowed every student in the school to access it, and they were provided with a visual reference of the progress of the staff within the challenge as a result of using the software. The impact was an increase in the profile of PE and sport at the academy and a considerable number of students being inspired to complete the rowing challenge themselves in both lessons and the after school fitness club.”

Lee Cogger, Head of PE at Strood Academy

“Can I just say a massive thank you. Chantry were made to feel so welcome by everyone- particularly lots of the Greenacre boys. I thought it was an excellent event and really well organised. What a lot of talent there is and it was clear to see the excitement from all the performers and how proud they all looked.”

Kathryn Duncan, Headteacher at Chantry Primary Academy

“The variation and organisation of secondary school games tournaments has been excellent since I have joined Fort Pitt. Numbers are increasing each year and it is great to see participation rates for girls on the increase. Suggestions are taken on board with regard to new sports and regular teacher meetings are helpful when organising roles for tournaments. Venues are also good and easily accessible. Long may it last!”

Nikki Mullens, Head of PE at Fort Pitt Grammar School

“Kingfisher Primary School has been a member of the Greenacre Sports Partnership for a number of years now and we have been extremely happy with the input we have been given by the team. Their staff are engaging, knowledgeable, professional and do a fantastic job. The children have found the lessons and after school clubs fun and informative. Our Staff have also gained a lot of experience through their Lesson Support programme  and they have then gained the confidence to produce outstanding PE lessons.”

Alison Brightman, PE Coordinator at Kingfisher Primary School

“The Greenacre Sports Partnership really has been a positive experience for all at Walderslade Primary. It has allowed the upskilling of staff so they are able to deliver high quality sessions across the school. The school has also benefitted from the use of high quality resources and the expertise of a range of high quality sports practitioners. The Greenacre Sports partnership has really been a partnership in the truest sense.”

Paul Dadson, Heateacher of Walderslade Primary School

“We love being a part of the Greenacre partnership, we love being able to enter every competition and event without the paperwork to worry about. All staff are friendly and available to help whenever it is needed. I couldn’t recommend them enough to other schools.”

Tori Rann, PE Coordinator at Wayfield Primary School

“I can not thank you enough for the Competition part of your Sports Partnership package – it was so well organized, children collected and brought back on time etc, they’ve come back buzzing, they have never done so well and this is largely due to the coaching they have received. They’re not sure where they came on the board but they reckon they have done well. It doesn’t really matter as long as they get something out of it. So much better than in the past. I am so pleased. Thank you.”

Katharine Sexton, Headteacher at St Michaels Primary School

“We at Burnt Oak feel the communication has been great due to the good relationship between Greenacre and ourselves. All of the Greenarcre staff are always prepared to help and support. We love being in the partnership.”

David Smith & Russell Searle, PE Coordinators at Burnt Oak Primary School

“The Secondary School Games has been incredible for our students at Thomas Aveling Secondary School. It enables students to participate at a high standard against lots of other Secondary Schools in the borough and provides them with a real sense of competition. Having the Secondary School Games allows us to include more students in a wider variety of sports, which often increases their chances of pursuing a sport when they leave Secondary School. Being able to provide this type of sporting environment has really helped to increase sports participation across all age groups and has had many positive outcomes in the time we have been a part of the SSG.”

Kyle Williams, PE Teacher at Thomas Aveling Secondary School

“St John’s C of E Infants are very satisfied with the support and opportunities the partnership provide for our pupils. Lesson support has been highly valued by the teaching staff as both they and the children have been able to develop and apply their skills. There is good communication between the partnership and the school and there is always a quick response to queries and questions. We are kept fully informed of upcoming events whether it be CPD for staff or competition opportunities for the children. The Greenacre Partnership is an invaluable resource for our school.”

Judith Round, PE Coordinator at St Johns Infant School
