People who help us
If you have any resources at home that you are willing to allow us to borrow to support our topics please let us know.
This term we will learn the following sounds:
ar (car), or (horn), ur (turn), ow (cow), oi (coin), er (flower), ear, (hear), air (hair), ure (pure)
The ‘tricky’ words that your child will know by the end of this term are:
I, the, no, go, to, he, she, we, me, be, was, you, my, they, put, all, are
It is very important that your child reads at home, as well as at school. Practising their reading on a regular basis is vital to your child becoming a more fluent reader. You do not need to read the whole book each time you read with your child. Please remember to ask your child questions about what they have read and make a comment in your child’s reading record.
Swimming – After Easter (Term 5) we will begin swimming. We rely on parent volunteers to swim. If we do not have enough volunteers then we are unable to swim. Please let us know if you are able to support with our swimming lessons on Wednesday afternoons.
Kidzania – We are looking forward to our school trip to KidZania on Friday 23rd March. Please can you make sure that payment is received by Monday 19th March. We will send a letter home nearer the time to remind you of the timings of the day. If you have any questions, please come and ask.
