Our Schools/Our Family
There are currently three Academies in the Greenacre Academy Trust.
Greenacre Academy is the founder member of the Trust and converted to Academy status in April 2012. There are 930 students on roll including the boys in years 7 to 11 together with the boys in the sixth form which is a partnership with the neighbouring school, Walderslade Girls School. The Academy was rated ‘good’ in all categories by OFSTED in February 2014 and has a thriving school sports partnership which has won national acclaim during the past two years.
The Head of School is Shelly Bridger.
Warren Wood Primary Academy joined the Trust as a sponsored Academy on 1 July 2014. Although placed in ‘special measures’ by OFSTED in December 2013, the academy has now progressed to RI with three headings of GOOD namely leadership and management, behaviour and early years following an inspection in June 2017.
The Head of School is Louise Ward.
Chantry Community Academy joined the Trust as a sponsored academy on 1 January 2016. It became a GOOD school following an inspection in early December 2016.
The Head of School is Kathryn Duncan.
